Nas and Hit-Boy launched the primary King’s Illness again in 2020, ushering in a brand new period for the legendary rapper after 2018’s uneven, Kanye West produced NASIR. King’s Illness II adopted in 2021, as did Magic, one other album from the 2 artists that Nas shocked launched later that 12 months. In all, the previous couple of years have caused a little bit of a renaissance for Nas. He simply wrapped up the “NY State of Thoughts Tour,” a co-headlining jaunt with fellow hip-hop icons Wu Tang Clang, and we reviewed their St. Louis present.
